Banana Republic has collaborated again with Janie Bryant, costume designer of AMC’s Mad Men. The Spring 2012 line of 1960’s country club inspired designs will hit shelves this afternoon in stores nationwide. Banana Republic stores will close for an hour to roll out the 40-piece collection and reopen for BR Card Members only to enjoy a VIP shopping event. Since we can’t all get the invitation aboard Virgin Airlines to see the 35,000 foot runway show today (no, really), the public will be allowed to shop in stores again at 6pm. The official public and online launch will be debuted March 1st.

The line is modeled by the delicious David Gandy and classic beauty Shalom Harlow (pictured above) and photographed by Tom Munro. AMC’s Mad Men resumes Season 5 on March 25th.
